1. Apple is deliberately going into a yearlong lull with the iPhone 7.  Analysts say that a “powder keg is forming in the installed base.”

2. South Korea has launched a country-wide Internet of Things network. It can reach 99% of the country’s population.

3. Uber has been forced to make public the criteria for deactivating drivers. It comes from the service’s Australian team.

4. NASA overcame incredible odds to reach Jupiter. On July 4, late in the evening, NASA’s Juno spacecraft finally reached Jupiter, five years after the probe left Earth.

5. Question and answer site ASKfm has been sold by IAC. It’s now owned by asset management firm Noosphere.

6. A new patent filing from Samsung is for a hingeless, dual-display smartphone. The lack of a hinge could make it very light.

7. Crowdfunding platform Crowdcube is raising £5 million from its members. Its CEO claims equity crowdfunding is “vibrant post-Brexit.”

8. Huawei implied that a photo was taken with its P9 phone but it was actually taken with a DSLR. The company has since removed the image.

9. A robot arm has won 2016’s Amazon Picking Challenge. A Dutch team won the award.

10. Apple has released four iMessage sticker packs. They can only be used by people running the iOS 10 beta for now.
